Illuminations dessert party questions

I know that the party is offered as part of Grand Gatherings, disney Cruises, and private functions, but does anyone know of any other ways to partake in one of these. I've seen that TiW offers them every once in a while. Are they any groups of Disney fans that put them on monthly that one could join? This is something we've never done before, but would really like to. Thanks for any ideas!

None that I am aware of.

I am planning one for my team after our team conference in August. I also did one in December 2007 for clients.

They can start as low as $250+ for the venue(location), and go up from there, depending on the size of the location and its popularity. Then there is a minimum food and beverage order of at least $400++, and that depends on the location and menu items chosen and the number of people. Menus can start around $20++ per person and go up from there, and you can add on extras to the menus for additional cost. All prices are for 1 hour of service.

The ++ refers to taxes and service fees.

Adding tables and other items to the location will add more cost.

Thanks for the info. I priced it out for my family of 4 if we threw our own and it was between $700-$1000, which was out of my cost/benefit ratio. Hopefully I'll be able to find something like a TiW even that we can go to.
