Hi everyone!

I'm very excited for my 1st visit to WDW and Florida in mid April! I have a few questions that hopefully can be answered by the awesome WDWMagic community!

Information about my trip:
1. Party of 2, arriving and leaving on different domestic flights at different time, in mid April (1 1/2 weeks)
2. We purchased 2 Magic Your Way 5-days tickets from Expedia
3. 1st night we are staying at a non-property hotel near Downtown Disney
4. 2nd to 4th night we are staying at a Disney resort
5. We don't have checked-in luggage, only a small carry-on

Questions
1. To save some money, can we take the Magic Express Bus a day earlier from our supposed-check-in-day? (I checked the magic express bus services but haven't let Disney know about my arrival flight yet) I'm thinking of taking the express bus, then sneak to the DTD bus lane when we get off. Does that work? :ROFLOL:

2. If #1 does not work, guess we have to take the Mears shuttle. How long does it take from MCO to DTD? Google Map says 30mins, anyone have an estimate on Mears Shuttle, do they wait for a long time to load up customers at MCO?

3. If we get into the park on the 1st day, and when we check-in at the Disney resort the 2nd day morning, can they combine our already-in-use-tickets into the Key to the World Cards?

4. Our departure flights is in the late afternoon and we plan to visit the park in the morning. To save time, does Disney allow customers to leave luggages at a closer resort and take the Magic Express from that resort instead of from our original one?

5. Are the check-in booths (I'm assuming it's the electronic ones) at the resort the same as those at major airports?

Thanks! :king:

OK I'm going to answer a few of your questions to the best of my ability.

#1 question: I'm pretty sure you can't take the Magical Express a day early because it is attached to your Disney resort Reservation number.

#3 Yes you can combine your Disney Tickets to you Key to the world card at the front desk of your resort.

#4 you have to take the magical express from the resort that you stayed at. That said resort will hold your luggage for you while you visit the park.

2) Expect to spend 45-60 minutes getting from the airport to your hotel. You probably won't have to wait forever, but it might not be as expedient as DME.

5) Resort Airline Checkin at the hotels are comparable to the curbside checkin desks at the airport. They're not self-service ticket kiosks. If you're not checking luggage, they probably can help you print your boarding passes. The Lobby Concierge desk can also help you with checking in for your flight on the airline's website.
If you need to leave carry-on luggage for storage while you're in the park, bring it to the Bell Services desk for storage.

Thank you melmood2000 and Rob562! :)

I have a followup question:

The Magic Your Way Voucher, that I purchased online, is "valid for 2 adults" but only has my name printed on it. I'm arriving at WDW 8 hours before my friend. Can I get into the park first? (or does everyone in the party needs to be present at the time to exchange the tickets?)

Thanks!

Hmmm. I've never encountered vouchers like that, but chances are you'll be able to pick both of them up yourself. The only time they really insist on seeing people and their IDs are for Annual Passes and Florida Resident discount tickets.
