Quite simply put: nope.

This is the busiest week of the year with the highest rates of the year, and resorts sell out, as well as parks hit capacity. Because their are hundreds of thousands of people that are willing to and do pay full price during the 2 weeks surrounding Christmas every year, discounts will not be offered.

I would suggest moving to early December or mid December. All holiday shows will be going on, decorations are up, crowds are slightly lower and prices are MUCH better.

the only thing i can think of is the aroma of freshly baked goods on Main Street along with the fact that it snows... :lookaroun that's gotta be worth the price... right...?

:shrug::lookaroun I guess I am in the minority - I love love love Disney at Christmas - it is the definition of wonderful, family, relaxing. But I guess that it me

It is workable. We stayed on property for the 3 Christmases we went. We used the extra early and late hours. You need to make your restaurant reservations early and take what is open even if it isn't exactly what you want. Work with that and keep checking to see if something better opens up.
There is nothing better than being at the MK Christmas morning waiting for it to open. Last Christmas we had lunch at Liberty Tavern I think around 11:30 and not long after left the MK. The MK gets very crowded Christmas day. You really need to be flexible. We had a wonderful time last Christmas week and never stopped.
