Well, my parents just told me that we're heading to Disney for a short trip!
We're leaving early Monday morning (3/19) and we'll be home late Tuesday night (3/20). We will be staying at Coronado Springs Resort. We've never stayed here before (we usually stay at Shades of Green, Pop, or one of the All Stars) so we're all pretty excited.
This will be my first TR so you're going to have to cut me some slack here :ROFLOL:
Now for some family background:
We're from Jacksonville, FL which is only about 2.5 hours from Disney (that explains the length and lack of notice for the trip).
The last time we went to Disney as a family was exactly a year ago; last spring break.
My mom and I went down in December when I performed in the Candlelight Processional with my high school.
The cast:
Mom- second grade teacher, absolutely in love with Disney (WDW is known as her Happy Place), very much in need of a vacation
Dad- roller coaster enthusiast, notorious for printing out little time schedules for all of us to carry in our pockets, very into technology
Jonathan- 15, freshman in high school, the human baby of the family, up for anything (and I mean anything)
Cleo- 3, weimaraner, hyperactive. She won't be coming to Disney with us but she will make a quick appearance since we will be dropping her off at "camp" the day before we leave
Me- 18, about to graduate from high school, family photographer (but nowhere near as good as a lot of you on here), University of Florida chemical engineering student in the fall. I love reading everyone's TRs but I rarely post
I'm pretty bad at getting into vacation photos, so this awkward webcam shot will have to do for now. At least it shows my camera (Nikon D5000) and my small Vinylmation collection.
I think that's about it. All of our food will be QS since we made the hotel reservation today, so I wasn't planning on taking any food pictures, is that weird?
