2012 April Vacation questions.

Only got 30 days left til are family vacation to Disney!
And none of us have been at the peak season, so I got some questions.
1) how bad are the crowds at this time?
2) what are some usual wait times for the best attractions?
3) How late for EMH at parks, including morning
4) any special events going on at this time?

I appreciate it if you help with my questions

we used to go every April, and honestly the lines were not that bad. We had a few hour waits, but with fast passes you can make it happen. It's a blast to go during this time. I've always enjoyed it!

The sun gets a little toasty in April. Be ready for that.

I agreee. We go almost every April and have never found it to be that bad. If you get Fastpasses for the most popular attractions you should be fine. The weather is nice too, not too hot yet, but definitely not cold so bring swim suits.

aprils the best...

aprils the best time to go! ok, so im partial because weve been only once, and you can guess, it was in april....i think the weathers perfect because its warm, but very nice and easy to deal with. We had one night of very hard rain, but it only lasted 30 minutes or so...and little sprinkles but not bad. Crowd levels were great, a few 45 min or so waits, but not bad either...those were thunder mtn, tower of terror and dumbo, but that can be fixed with a fast pass....i think on average the wait times were about 20-25 minutes or so...we went the last week in april...and two months from today well be in dwntn disney on our first night!!! i love april in wdw!

The crowds depend on your perspective. Easter week (which is when you will be there if you are going in 30 days) is quite crowded. Not insane like Xmas week. I'd say it is just a bit more than mid-Summer crowds. But since the weather is not as oppressive, the crowds and waits don't seem as bad. Headlines will get over an hour. EMH is certainly the way to go. On our previous couple Easter week visits, we have always done the AM EMH and can usually get 5-6 attractions done in that first hour.
