March 6-8th: Spring Break madness or the calm before the storm?

Hey all, I'll be making a short, but busy trip to the world March 6th-8th. It's mid-week and fairly early, if not right before the spring break season kicks in. We'll be staying at All-Star Music, managed $75 a night with the FL resident discount promotion. Any insights into crowds? From what I've read on touringplans and several other sites, it seems like it will be fairly quiet with the days being 4's or so on the crowd scale. Any opinions?

Closer to calm before the storm. Only a couple of universities have spring break this early. The Northeast and Midwest just got done with Presidents Day based winter breaks. Spring break kind of starts around the time of Bike Week that starts on the 9th. After that, Spring break really kicks in.

I would say you will be in lower crowds. Our schools start spring break March 16th (including colleges) and we are heading down for that week. Disney extended hours this week too, so I'm expecting it to be busy, but not as busy as Christmas week!
