I love the Splash Mountain queue...even if it's long, and waiting under the shade trees, hearing the music makes me happy. I love the shadow of Brer frog inside.

Pirates is amazingly atmospheric. The excitement builds as soon as I enter the fort. (though I miss the talking parrot)

Tower Of Terror's queue just rocks. I probably have more pictures of the inside of that lobby than any other thing in WDW.

Least favorite...Soarin'...both the regular queue, and the Fastpass queue which still took over 40 minutes when I was in it, and you are looking at a whole lot of nothing.

Least favorite- Soarin'. Great attraction. God awful queue.

Rockin Roller Coaster. Close second because of the horrible Ileanna Douglas.

Favorite-Kali River Rapids. Almost better than the ride.

Everest also.

Rock n RollerCoaster used to be one of the BEST, but it is now the WORST.

Awhile back, the only real "waiting" line was the outside portion. You waited outside. Nothing special there.

BUT when you got to the FastPass/ Standby MERGE point, you walked up the ramp, around the building and back by the guitar and through the door. Then you went down the hallway, into the atrium/lobby, through the marble doors and a small zigzag through the history of records/CDs/tapes. Then waited to go see Aerosmith.

Really felt like you were on a walking tour of G-Force Records. It was really well done, even though that was never its original intent.

Now the queue is a congested mess, where you are crammed into the building. I thought the attraction lost a TON of its personality when its queue was redone several years back.

It was just cool to walk through the line, really stretch your legs out, and go on a "tour" of G Force Records.

Hate it now, hands down hate it, one of the worst!!!!

Ah! It's been quite a few years since I was on this ride...and I used to think the queue was really cool...couldn't figure out why it was on so many Least favorite lists!

I understand now.

Favorite: Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Best Disney queue ever.

Easily this. As far as WDW, POTC is probably the grandaddy of the themed queues but they play that movie music so loud it takes something away from it (you can't hear the soldiers anymore, though they may have removed them altogether).

Least: Almost any older FL dark ride queue. Not much there but boring switchbacks. Many of the DL ones are even worse because of how cramped they are.

It stinks they got rid of an element of the queue that gave the ride more personality. It really does.

The ride is still a ton of fun. But I used to count the "attraction" starting when you passed the merge point and proceeded on your tour. Now it's just another slowww moving line up until the preshow.

Best: Tower of Terror and Pirates of the Caribbean. Ah, these two. The ones. I'm sure they are in fact there, but my mind phases out handrails and switchbacks in those queues. They don't feel like queues due to the sheer amount of detail and seeming authentic reality of it all. You become a part of those universes.

Worst:
- Soarin', the very definition of banality.
- Test Track. Does it fit the theme? Yes. It it ugly as sin? You bet.
- Maelstrom, which feels reversed, with the themed queue an afterthought at the end when you disembark.

Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion and Star Tours have all been downgraded. Space is affected by those awful video games and the loading area being under cover. It enhances the ride, but it was always cooler to look up to see and hear the mayhem above.

The Mansion's queue, what else is there to say. I will say that I think the giant tarp stinks since it blocks out your view of the house. The interactive queue is better in this regard. You aren't under a tarp and can see the Haunted Mansion. Regardless of all the junk around you, that is something to be said in defense of the crypt playground.

Star Tours was also better before Adventures Continue. Maybe just the lighting is better now. The original announcer? Classic. The droid room was also more entertaining to me before. The new security check feels barren after the original.

I think that 90% of the queue's are pretty amazing, have great details, and give you something to do while waiting in line for what seems like (or sometimes what is) hours. My favorites are: POTC, TOT, TSMM (when its not too long), EE, Tough to be a Bug, The Seas with Nemo, Test Track. My least favorites: the 3 mountains in MK, Peter Pan, IASW, RNRC (the outside portion), Soarin.

Least Favorites... hmmm Soarin just drags on. Rockn' Roller Coaster is a bit of a maze, a few others can get pretty monotonous.

Favorites: Sometimes I feel like I need more time on the Everest Queue. Love, Love, Love, the feel of Tower of Terror . And while I don't particularly enjoy waiting on line for Toy Story Mania, the walls and things are pretty epic.

I love this answer because this discussion is comparing the queues in WDW when alll of the queues there are better than aware else.

that said,
Least favorite: Soarin' is absolutely horrible! it takes fooooorever, I like test track's when you look at things but the music gets too loud and annoying haha.

Favorites: I do have a lot because like i said go to six flags and compare it to WDW, it's helll!

Tower of Terror definitely, I love all the trees and plants around and the mist that gets you into the horror movie feeling along with the old music to set the scene, the little signs as if you were really at a hotel is awesome and I totally want to make a resort modeled after it.

Star Tours! I love Star Wars and the whole robots and space travel thing, a lot to look at

Expedition Everest, it really is like walking through a museum

Everest, Tower of Terror and Splash all seem to set the mood pretty good for you. I like Small World because it is very short, almost always a walk on and the clock tower and such in the background give it a nice back story.

Hall of Presidents. Love it. Feels like you're in Washington. Love the descriptions of the Presidents on the walls. Also intrigued with the hidden mickey on George Washington's picture. Also like the Country Bear Jamboree waiting room. Again, it sets the tone for what awaits.

My least favourites: Soarin. Ugh. You wait for an hour down that one hallway and then when you think the start of the ride is just around the corner.......it isn't.

Peter Pan, deceptively long line and you wouldn't think it. Not a lot to do while you're in it.

Dumbo, Mad Tea Party are pretty much the same. Can't really blame them, they are outdoor rides. On a sunny day you are either hot or in the shade while waiting for Dumbo and you can't do anything about it. The tarp above you only covers so much.

Okay I have to ask about Haunted Mansion. Why is it so bad now? I have been since March 2010. It was great, it had the tarp over top and the closer you got to the building you would see the headstones with the neat little punchlines. It set the mood. So please tell me they didn't get rid of all that stuff? Why is it so different now?
