You want to see flooding in the MK, look for the pics and videos from a couple years ago of the Speedway under 3' of water during a downpour because of a clogged/broken drainage pipe...

The reason for all of the water in those areas is due to the fact that just prior to the Wishes firework show, Disney will spray down the roofs of most of the buildings in the area to prevent fires from the firework show. The water from the roofs will eventually travel off of the rooftops. Look up at some of the roofs in the area, specifically near Peter Pans flight and they are covered in hay like material.
