When will Davy Jones return to Pirates of the Caribbean?

I wish they would bring back the skull and crossbones that said, "rough waters ahead". I miss that more than Davey Jones (although that IS a cool effect)!

Yes he is still on the project, but it is not permanent. Davy Jones will be back

I would assume this is because the DVD is coming out shortly.

So why not combine both into something even better? Instead of going back to Davy Jones, make it a mist projection of the skull and crossbones?

I would like to see them add another waterfall effect to the end somehow-after the treasure room, before you get off the boat....it would tie the ends together better.....maybe do Blackbeard on the front end and Davy Jones at the back?

Hopefully Davy Jones will be back soon. The blackbeard projection is horrible compared to how well the Davy Jones projection works.

I concur. Just rode it three days ago, and I was surprised at how poor the projection of Blackbeard appeared. I hope Davy Jones returns soon. But I applaud Disney for making this little change temporarily.

I think the mist curtain might be part of the problem. From what I remember it was much thicker in the past which resulted in a better image. It might just be a case of selective memory though.
