We received the card in our AAA Travel Booklet, I registered today. Does anyone have any opinions on this feature? :animwink:

It is great. We ended up with several hundred after adding borders and other tweeks.

Just be sure to ask for the magic shots and get as many pics as you can.

Our family loves Photopass. We uploaded our personal pics and had them printed with the WDW logo on them for like .19 cents a piece. We also bought a lot of the ones their photographers took at the parks as well.

As a special treat my wife created a hardcover book for our son, which he absolutely loves.

I got Photopass for my August trip, and it was SOOOO worth it! And if you pre-order, you can get it for $99 instead of $149. We stopped at every photographer we saw, and made sure to tell them that we had already pre-ordered Photopass. After hearing that, most of them took more shots of us, and did magic shots if they were able to. It was great to be able to get lots of pictures with all three of us. After adding borders and editing, I ended up with around 300 pictures. This was in addition to the 700 that I took with my own camera! :) I will definitely be pre-ordering for all future trips!

We pre-ordered our photopass CD before we left for our trip last December. It was well worth it. Plus activating the AAA card and taking that with you just makes everything easier. You already have the photopass card with you and you can make note of the number on the back just in case it gets misplaced. That way you can still access your photos that are on that card if it is lost. We ended up with 279 pictures taken by the photopass photographers. Then once we added borders it was an insane amount of pictures. We took just over 900 of our own pictures with our camera on our trip. You can't beat it! Have a good trip!!

We recently went through slides from my childhood trips to WDW and I can count the number of pictures with my dad in them on one hand. With photopass, we have tons of family photos with EVERYONE in them. I love it.

We LOVE photopass. Being just the two of us, its hard to get good pictures, its usually me holding my arm out to take a picture of us so all you see are our heads. There are always a ton of photopass photographers around the parks and you usually don't have to wait too long, and if there is a long line, you can usually just come back later in the day, there are usually always photographers in certain spots (at the entrances of all the parks with the park icon). Its also nice that they take pictures using your own camera. I have never pre-ordered the photopass cd, but I'm thinking I might do that this year since my DH's mom is coming with us. Question about the photopass cd, can you print the pictures from somewhere besides Disney Photopass (ex:shutterfly or snapfish) they are always having free prints and deals.

Yes, you can have them printed anywhere (I just had some printed at Wal-Mart and am ordering a bunch more online this week). What I'm not sure of is if there is a limit on how many times you can print them. I know I want to have some bigger ones printed out for frames.

Also, just another note about pre-ordering. If you aren't satisfied with the pictures and end up deciding that you don't want to order the CD, you can get your money back.

To the OP, note that registering the card they sent you is different than pre-ordering the cd. Check out StitchKingdoms awesome guide here -> http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disneysphotopass/ and see if it is something you would like. You can pre-order the cd or not, the benefit being a savings of $50. When you buy the CD you get rights to every picture on the cd, including any edits you did, borders you added, etc. This means that you can get copies printed anywhere you want, for whatever price the prints cost at that store. If you don't buy the CD (all your pictures) you can buy individual prints, or digital downloads (plus rights) to individual photos. They also sell coffee mugs, magnets, and other stuff with the photos on them. But if you have the rights for that image, you can get similar goods made anywhere.
