They did something like this last year too.

From the rules:

BY DEPOSIT ENTRY: During the full Entry Period, an official entry form will be available for download at disneyworld.com/passholder and Uptown Jewelers Merchandise location in the Magic Kingdom® Park (individually, “Form”). Complete and deposit a Form at the Uptown Jewelers Merchandise location location in the Magic Kingdom® Park in one of the entry boxes available in the lobby area (“Deposit Entry”).

(b) BY MAIL ENTRY: Complete a Form or hand print your full name, address, telephone number, birth date and Passholder ID Number on an 8½" x 11" plain sheet of paper and mail the completed Form or the sheet of paper inside a postage prepaid business size (#10) envelope, to: Disney Destinations, LLC, 2011 Passholder 40th Anniversary Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 10000, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 (“Mail Entry”).

I just looked on the Passholder site and don't see it yet (though there are resort discounts through 12/24 listed!) but, like I said, I remember this same kind of contest in the past.

Perhaps in case they go during blackout? Or if they're an Epcot After 4 Passholder or Weekday Select Passholder and want to go on a weekend? Best guess.

i noticed that too. guess no one's getting this award! :hammer:

i also noticed you must respond within five days of the time they MAIL the notification. hope the post office doesn't take five days to get it to you and hope you didn't go away (oh let's say to disneyworld) for the weekend.
