Stray Cats at Disney World ??

I just foundout about stray cats living in Disneyland and was suprised that they do. Do they live in Disney World too??

not sure but I saw a rat once run out of a bush near jungle cruise..

I saw a cat backstage at Studios once.

I hope not. Thought it was interesting that they let stray cats live in disneyland for rodent control. Ive yet to encounter one in disneyworld.

I've been in and out of all of the parks nearly fifty times the past year and a half and I can't think of one stray cat that I've ever seen. I've seen almost every other type of wildlife on and around the parks and roads in WDW - deer, raccoon, etc. but never a stray cat.

I've never seen cats at WDW, but I see them almost every time I visit Disneyland. They live over by Hungry Bear and don't really venture any further into the parks than that restaurant. There's a little shelter/dog house looking thing you can see from the train with some water/food dishes near the restaurant that someone at Disney has provided them with.

I think WDW is too far away from a huge city to house stray cats...... Remember Disneyland is IN a HUGE city....

We've seen rabbita, deer (including a small herd near the parking area for EPCOT one evening last year), a racoon, and a couple of 'gators...no cats, though. It is an interesting question - wonder if they trap cats and take them to the shelter?

While on the bus I saw a gator in the lagoon right outside of AK's Parking lot

and much of the WDW area is or was swamp....

Ive seen Bunnies at Magic Kingdom, and deer near the Magic Kingdom Parking lot.

I've never seen a stray cat at WDW or DL, but I would love to. I love cats, I always miss mine terribly when I'm away & hope i see some on vacation. I have seen a few snakes & rabbits at WDW, but that's about it as far as wildlife goes.

I saw an orange kitten at POP one night. No one else saw it though, so they just thought I was drunk and seeing things. But I SWEAR there was a friggin cat in the bushes by the bar!

I know the Stray Cats have never performed at WDW, but Brian Setzer's Orchestra did for one of the Walt Disney Very Merry Christmas Parade tapings back in 2002. Or was it 2003?

I would definitely book a trip to Orlando to see Brian Setzer or the Stray Cats perform. I hear Brian likes to play the House of Blues chain.

But there is nothing mention on Brian's website about the Stray Cats touring near Orlando.

Have to say I've never seen a cat on property, but I saw a Police bomb detection dog at the entrance of MK. His handler told me they are on property at times. A beautiful Chocolate Lab wearing his own badge. Maybe he scared the stray cats away? :ROFLOL:

I saw a small lizard once, well, more like fifty times.

There are several cats that prowl around the pool area outside of Captain Cook's at the Poly. I see at least one of them every time we stay there.
