Kinect Tour of Disneyland

Its not Disney World related but i found this very interesting.

On the Xbox 360 Kinect, You can now take a virtual tour of Disneyland and experience attractions like never before.

I think this is very cool to vist The Happiest Place on Earth without even leaving home.

Maybe one day in the near future, we will be able to experience Walt Disney World on Xbox 360 Kinect or even other ways from home !!

I heard this off of Central Florida News 13.

As fun as this sounds, I know I won't buy a Kinect just to do this--I can get the same amount of enjoyment out of breaking out my copy of Epic Mickey, or watching videos of WDW/DLR.

I have a xbox, but not kinect. i wouldnt go buy kinect just for this. but if i did have it, this would be fun IMO

I saw the demonstration live, and the game looked pretty terrible. I guess it will be great for kids.

Looks like they created Disneyland faithfully, but the actual rides are nowhere to be found in the game, basically you go spastic through made up levels similar to what they had in that old nes game, themed to the ride but nothing like it

I don't understand why everybody is being a about this game.

Looks pretty and pretty sweet. No, you don't sit in a flying pirate ship and watch a graphic rendered version of the ride -- THAT would be stupid.

Instead, they make game levels in the spirit of the attractions.

Just like the game above. Great game there too (except I could never beat Space Mt.).

But hey, if self importance is so important, knock the game.

But if it's a crappy game, it's a crappy game. I haven't played it or seen anything about it, but I do know that you can't really get mad at people for their opinions.

So, everyone should praise the game simply because it deals with Disney?

Judging by the preview it looks terrible, something no one over the age of 5 will have fun playing. The "kids" they had at the announcement who were playing it didn't even seem into it.

You arent able to "tour" Disneyland in the game, it's just a collection of minigames loosely based on some of the rides and on random disney films. If anyone is familiar with Kinect adventures, it's basically that with a Disney theme.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did have some ride-throughs added as rewards and such.

Looks like a neat little game - although I have an XBOX I haven't gotten a KINECT yet, just not terribly interested, but I may change my mind by the time this comes out.

actually you are able to tour disneyland but the rides are mini games.
