An El Capitan Theatre in WDW?

I know they just re-did the AMC at Dowtown Disney but how cool would it be to have something like the Disney El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood blvd, in WDW? It could be modeled like El Capitain (inside) with the classic 1920's architecture and theming. It'd show the latest Disney movies and when nothing "new" is out, they'd play classic animated films while we're waiting for them to be re-released on DVD/Blu Ray. This would be awesome IMO and another true Disney experience to have while on vacation.

Because of the AMC, it's pretty far fetched to see it happening at DTD (ideal location) but how about DHS and charge the extra $12 at the gate and get a special bracelet or ticket etc if you wanna catch a flick...

Those too ;)

Although most might say WDW has enough stores already. Ironic considering how much merch these same people buy :D

Sorry, but I wouldn't go. I have never gone once to the AMC at Downtown Disney during any of my trips to WDW. To spend my money to go to WDW and use even a couple of hours watching a movie that I could see at home seems a waste of my time. There's too many other things to do, I can go to the movies any time I want at home. Disney time for me is time to experience the rides, events, atmosphere, etc. that are unique to Disney. A movie theater is a movie theater no matter how it's dressed up.

Agreed. I have NEVER considered going to see a movie or even watching one in my room in Disney. I want to be there to see Disney World; I can watch Tangled at home, but I can't ride Splash Mountain.
