Davey Jones/Mickey Dolenz at Epcot

Mickey Dolenz joined Davey Jones on stage for the last few songs of Saturday night's 3rd Flower Power concert.

Davey was making his usual joke about the other Monkeys being in the Hollywood Actors' Home when Dolenz rode an ECV out onto the stage.

They did 3 songs together, sounded pretty good and mentioned they'd be touring as a reunited group this year.

The crowd was SRO and went pretty nuts with some ear splitting screaming by the 50 and up female portion of the audience.

Don't know if it happened last night or will tomorrow but it was pretty neat.

We saw Davey Jones at his first EPCOT appearance and was amazed at how great he still sounded. I only wish he had played for a longer time and gave us more songs. The Flower Power concerts are a wonderful addition to EPCOT. We've seen quite a few other performances and always had fun. I wish they were able to get other performers to take part.
