I have just under 10 months till I'm on Disney property.

I have just read "The unofficial guide to WDW" and I want more of the same on my countdown.

Can anybody suggest some good books about wdw?

Yes! I picked up "The Vault of Walt," which is all the "secret" and previously unrevealed stories about Walt, the creation of the parks, the rides, and everything else Disney. I have had so much fun reading the book! The chapters are all under 10 pages, so it's super easy to sit down in 10-15 minutes and read a "story". You can also skip around in the book with no consequences. It just came out this year. So good.

There is a thread about Walt Disney books under the 'WALT DISNEY - MAN BEHIND THE MOUSE' catergory, sorry I don't know how to add links. Hope this is helpful

I'd suggest picking up a copy of the Imagineering field guides or "Walt Disney World - The First Decade". Looking at WDW ephemera gets me very excited to go, even if some of the things that they have don't exist anymore.

I second the Imagineering Field Guide. Great set of books. It was hard to make it through the DHS one though, just not all that interesting to me.

The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World.

I second this choice!

I also like the Imagineers Guides, and the Walt Disney World Trivia books - they don't just ask questions, but they give long explanations of answers as well as random facts. I've learned a ton from sifting through the book. I like Mouse Under Glass as well, if you're interested in learning about the history of various Disney movies & their origins.

i like the kingdom keepers lol.

I'm 30, have a BA in English, and love the KK books. The latest (4th) book just came out a few weeks ago - love it!

Something from the Harlequin Romance section?

Glad Im not the only one who was thinking that

I enjoy the field guides as well, and theyre reasonably priced as well (I think $10 apiece).
