What beers are at the resort bars?

I know to some this is not an important question and it really will not change my families travel plans to Disney. BUT, I have really fell in love with Yuengling beer and I was wondering if it is still offered there. One year I was there through Oct. 1 (which is when the beer contracts change I guess:shrug:) fiscal year and the beer changed to Yuengling :sohappy:. My wife was not real happy but the kids were not with us, so I had a little more fun. Anyway that beer is not offered in Louisiana so this is the only time to enjoy this. I'm sure someone knows if this is changed or not and I would love to know so I can be more excited or prepared for the let down. I'll be there in March. Thanks a bunch!! And if I posted this in the wrong area, I'm sorry I'll do better next time. Again, thank y'all for the help.

I am assuming at the resorts there is a better selection of beer then in the parks. I am pretty sure they have Yuengling at the Espn Club on the Boardwalk, they have a better beer selection at the bar there. Thats rough that they do not sell it in Louisiana. Do they have Fat Tire, cause it tastes the same? But they do sell it at Publix or the gas station, so maybe you should grab a 12 for the room?

Yuengling is a pretty good beer, originally started in pottsville Pa and was a mostly local brew up until the 90's. They have a brewery in Tampa right next to Busch gardens

Yuengling?

Possibly one of the worst beers ever made, I would rather drink a beer from the UK or China, with a bucketload on salt poured into it.

While I do fancy a local micro-brew now and then, nothing beats an ice cold Miller. Of course being from Milwaukee clouds my judgement, but its still the best beer ever created.

Jimmy Thick- I never drank nothin' that wasn't made in the USA...

We are from up north where Yuengling is not distributed yet. So we enjoy throwing back a few on our Disney trips. It is offered at most of the resorts I have been at. You have to check out Kona Longboards at the Polynesian. another lager that is better than Yuengling is my opinion.

Last time we were there (Sept '10) they had yuengling at just about every resort bar. I do agree it is a tasty beer. I know the crews cup lounge at the yacht club as a better than average beer selection. In case You have a few more favorites to search for.

Miller Lights tastes like gross drain water.

I need to put together a good beer @ Disney list...

Anyway, I'll browse through the menus to see what's listed. I don't think there's much more than your basic coors and bud at the bars at the resorts.

I just saw this beer option when I was browsing the menu at Kona Cafe! Definitely think I will be trying it if we decide to eat here!

On a side note, we live in PA close to where Yuengling is brewed... I'm not a huge fan of lagers, but the rest of my family is! They will be happy to know Yuengling is served in WDW property. We're heading back down in August!

From what I've gathered so far, ESPN club has the best selection of beer.
From the current disney.com menu
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA
Southampton Double White
Bell's Oberon Ale
Brooklyn Pennant Ale

I'm still working on going through everything though.

Of course in Epcot in WS:
Canada: Unibroue beers (La Fin Du Monde, Maudite, Blanche de Chambly, Trois Pistoles. Only found in Le Cellier)
UK: Guinness
US: Sam Adams, maybe find a seasonal
Germany: Beck's or Spaten Oktoberfest

Nothing else really going out of your way for

I've heard California Grill has some good beer, although I remember being disappointed in their beer selection when I went a couple years back.

Captain's Grille seems to have Sam Adams' seasonals, Dogfish Head 60, Abita Turbodog, Widmer Drifter.

I've had this one too, it is really good!

Another beer I like that i've found in AK is safari ale I think it's called. I have had it a couple times at the yak and yeti. I love beer! :sohappy:

California Grill disappointed me for being such an upscale place, they had standard market beers, yet they had a magnitude of wines. UK and Ragland Road best place to get beer, Why? Black and tan.... Guinness on top, Bass on bottom. It allows me to get my beer on.

Also Big River Grill @ Boardwalk, if they are anything like in Chattanooga, has some of the best brews that I have found.
