As we move onto the Elite 8, the Sweet 16 presented us with some fierce battles as we take one step closer to declaring a champion. There have been some tough matches up to this point and they are only going to get harder as we progress through the final rounds of this tournament. So far, we have had our fair share of lopsided matches as well as many tight battles and even several upsets. We are down to two competitors per each of our four regions. While some of these were expected to make it this far, I am surprised by some as well. While I am not going to reveal who has which seed, I will reveal the seeding match-ups. In no particular order, the matches by seed are:

It will be very interesting to see how these matches play out and who will advance to the Final Four.
For this round, the first counter-service eatery to receive (25) votes or the place with the most votes after 48 hours has passed from the time of the start of each set will be the winner. (Cosmic Rays has wins over Turtle Shack Snack Bar, Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, and Main Street Bakery. Ghirardelli has wins over El Pirata, World Premiere Food Court, and Aloha Isle).
Hollywood Studios Region:
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop (Beach Club) vs. Electric Umbrella (Epcot)
(Beaches and Cream has wins over Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station, Boulangerie Patisserie, and Columbia Harbour House. Electric Umbrella has wins over Seashore Sweets, Pizzafari, and Pinocchio Village Haus).
Animal Kingdom Region:
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (Magic Kingdom) vs. Sunshine Seasons Food Fair (Epcot)
(Plaza Ice Cream Parlor has wins over Golden Oak Outpost, Riverside Mill Food Court, and Liberty Inn. Sunshine Seasons has wins over Contempo Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Express, and Captain Cook's).
This match will end 2:50pm EST on Tuesday 12/14/2010.
