Disney Photopass question

If i were to pre-purchase the disney $99 photopass, does that apply to all disney photographers in the park or just the ride pictures. My question is, if I want a picture in front of the castle with the photographer, does that come on the cd?

It will include any picture that you can put on the photopass card. That boils down to all of the photo pass photographers and to my knowledge some of the ride photos. They have slowly been adding photopass readers to the ride photos. I know TT has it and I think Space Mountain has them but I am not sure about the others.

To answer your question- YES. It includes ALL the photos taken in the park by the photopass photographers- so it WOULD include the photo of you in front of the castle ;-) As the PP said- only select ride photos can be added to the CD. (Also something to note- if you preorder the CD and are unhappy with the photos, they will refund your money so you don't get stuck with it!)

One GIANT question... (I never knew about the $99 dollar pass)... if you purchase the pass for $99 what are the stipulations on printing photos? I paid 7 dollars for 2 4X6 shots, thats SO EXPENSIVE! I had about 60 photos on my photopass, would that have meant I would have been able to get all of my 60 shots for 99 rather than $420?

I have only one question... why is the Disneyland photopass so much cheaper? Just came back from there in October and was amazed to find that the price was 59.99 for the CD with all the photos... I thought we had paid more when we used them at Disneyworld, but couldn't remember the prices back then... I was pleasantly surprised by the $60 price...

Have they lowered the prices at Disneyworld too?

kind of makes sense... less parks = less photo opportunities = less price

It covers most photographs taken on property. The only free ride is Test Track, you can add Space Mountain but need to pay for the pictures first. Other rides are not compatible. If you have a character meal with a photo session, if the photo is included in your meal you can add it to your photopass, but if it is an extra charge you can only add it once you buy the photo.

No stipulations per say. You get a release form from Disney that lets you make as many prints from the CD for personal non commercial use. That was one of the reasons why another big Disney board stopped allowing shares was because money was changing hands for the pictures, which is expressly forbid in the release.

The cd works just like if you burnt a cd of pictures you took. You can make copies of it, upload to Shutterfly or Walmart, or bring the CD into CVS or Walgreens to make the prints.

The cd includes all the original pictures, as well as any edits you made. So if you added 4 borders to a picture, you would get the original, plus the 4 borders. The same applies to edits for different sizes. If you added a 4x6 border and an 8x10 border you would get both edits on the cd.

My family had pictures taken at the Pirate league we bought a small photo package then used the code on our receipt to added them to our photo pass account and print pictures for the whole family, same with the character breakfast photos.

i was just there the first of January. I pre-ordered the Disney photo pass and the Disney photo book. While we were there we had a picture taken every time we saw a Disney photographer. Many of them were just great taking our pictures. I ended up with over 160 pictures (test track) included. I also just ordered the photo book. Total for both $149.99 thanks to my Disney Visa Card.

I have all the Disney pictures of our trip and can order them on line at any photo store and pay their prices not the Disney prices. My children also made copies of their own and put them on their computers.

We now have all our pictures and can enjoy them as much as we want. A great purchase. Would recommend this to anyone.

For a significant period of time, the deal was not available to the general public. Walt Disney Travel Company sent out a select invite with a unique PIN to make the purchase. If you purchased via a travel agent, booked DVC, stayed off site or lost your email invitation, you did not get the PIN. The offer has since returned to the general public with a few more restrictions.

There is also a code for photos at the Hoop Dee Doo and CRT. And when we did the Jedi Training Academy there was a photopass guy there snapping away - I had 2 kids in the show and got some awesome photos. They just gave you a card and you went to one of the stores (I forget the name) to have the pictures added to the photopass card.
