Pools heated?

I've been reading posts about people visiting Disneyworld in the winter and it made me think about a conversation I had recently with someone who asked me if the pools were heated at the resorts so they could swim when it was cool/cold. I said I didn't know for sure but I didn't think so. Are they?

They most certainly are. When we were down there during their record cold snap in January, it was a complete fog out coming off of the pools, never mind the hot tubs. I'm not sure how warm they are, but they are indeed heated to a point. I think the water parks are somewhere in the 70-80 degree range.

A couple of years ago in October it was freezing one night. The pools were heated, but it was so cold outside the pool we froze to death on our way back to the room!

Absolutely! They are toasty warm. But as has been said, be prepared to dry off quickly and dash back to your room!

Unless you're Canadian, then there's no worries!

we buy my son a wetsuit (he's 8 and we bought one for $80). We like to hang out at the pool and though the pools are heated, the lines for the slides are COLD! but cold for us is below 70- we're Floridians
