House of Blues

Often seen House of Blues during our past visits and as we are coming back to WDW in December, we're thinking about paying a visit.

Question is, what are people's opinions on HoB? Any good?

My wife and I attended the House of Blues Gospel Brunch one Sunday morning at Downtown Disney, and were both surprised at how much we enjoyed it. We had planned on going all along because we thought we would enjoy the theme, but the combination of the food and engaging show surpassed our expectations. I was mostly disappointed with Downtown Disney, but House of Blues turned out to be one of the best memories from our trip.

Thanks for that. Often wondered about HoB, so I guess its worth a visit, being a Blues fan myself.

Agree with you on Downtown Disney, we've been going to WDW for 12 years and it seems to get worse every year and is hardly worth going to these days.

I have also been wanting to try House of Blues so we are going to try the Gospel Brunch in December. I've heard good reviews about both the food and the show.

I LOVE HoB - I've never done the gospel brunch but love the food - especially the cornbread - on the menu!!

House of Blues is great. The Elwood (in my opinion) is probably the best sandwich you'll get anywhere on Disney property and the white chocolate banana bread pudding is to die for. We enjoy HOB a lot. The food is very good and the service is excellent. Well worth a trip!:sohappy:

Just went to HoB the other day and it was great! It really exceeded my expectations. The best part, they offer 1/2 price appetizers every day from 3-5pm. It has become my new favorite restaurant at Downtown Disney.

Agree, do stop by the House of Blues. Orlando's version is same as say Chicago and Cleveland. Same menu and decor.

I agree -- cornbread is a must. Pan-Seared Voodoo Shrimp $10.99 (Beer reduction). The sauce is excellent. I also vouch for The Elwood.

I used to live near New Orleans down South and love cajun / creole faire.
