Question re: Hotel Express Pass

It's been a while since I've done this so hopefully someone can refresh my memory. If we stay at a Universal hotel for one night only, is the express pass good only for the night we're staying there or is it good for after we check out too? In other words, let's say I'm checking in on Saturday evening and checking out Sunday morning. I'm not really getting the full benefit of the express pass on Saturday. Would it be good for Sunday?

AFAIK, you can use you express pass both the day you checkin and the day you checkout.

As long as you keep your hotel room card when you checkout it will be good for both days.
