I have to agree with Spiderman being the best ride. Sorry Disney fans, I am also a Disney fan, but that ride totally rocks! True it's not for little children, but the kids only stay little for a few years, before they want the thrill rides. My son at 7 was tired of the "baby rides". It's good to have both.

What Exactly is Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey?

I been on Spider Man and Harry Potter FJ but i personaly think Indiana Jones in Disneyland is the best ride from the queue to the ride it is all great

Well... wow. Just got in late last night from my weekend trip... contrary to popular belief, 4th of July weekend was relatively not too bad at all (in part I think due to the rain)... there was absolutely no wait to enter the area at any time, with the line for Forbidden Journey topping off around 45-60 minutes all weekend. We had early entry on the 4th which gave us 3 rides in a row, walk-on. I rode a total of 12 times.
Let me just say - Universal has absolutely crushed the race for the most incredible attraction I've ever seen. The ride is fantastic, the immersion is fantastic, the vehicles are fantastic, the queue's fantastic, EVERYTHING is top-notch and impressive. And that's ignoring the area... which was also INCREDIBLE. Walking in for the first time, seeing Hogwartz just peeking out over the crooked chimneys of Hogsmeade was MAGICAL. I excitedly called my dad to tell him I made it in (he was in Philli at the time for business) and the conductor of the Hogwartz Express asked if he could see that odd "device" of mine (iPhone) and then asked my father why he wasn't with me in Hogsmeade, in complete British accent... absolutely perfect!!

Eh, I'm a bigger Universal fan right now than I was 5 years ago and I look forward to my visits there, but Indiana Jones Adventure is absolutely still the best overall attraction in America.

I prefer Spidey and Tower of Terror by far to Indy (DisneySea version). Perhaps the one at DL has more aggressive programming, but I thought Dinosaur was more exciting than Indy DisneySea.

Now i'm going to preface this by saying i'm a huge USF fan...
The ride is fantastic, and i'd put it up there with Spiderman and TOT. It isn't however perfect, there are just a couple of things that could really put this ride over the edge IMO and these are:
- I had read about the show building being visable and though people were probably making a bigger fuss about it then it deserved, but it is really visable. I can handle seeing it from other lands in the park, but when actually in the WWoHP I would expect it to not be visable but it was. The worst bit was when queueing by the greenhouse and you couldn't not see it. They should have either covered it up, or put something strategic in the way of your view in the queue.
- The projection quality isn't fantasic, I don't know how simple it would be to correct this, but it does let the ride down.
- The AAs lack detail. The dementors especially seemed quite bland, i do realise that it is hard to transfer CGI into a realistic model form that is so close to you, but I would love to see them upgraded at some point.
Despite these criticisms I would say that it is a brilliant ride, and I was not dissapointed despite all the hype. The ride itself is like no ride i've ever been on before, and everyone should really get over to IOA and ride!
