Heidi is graduating with her second degree on May 25th, I am starting a small business that I've been working on for a little while now, so we both figured this would be a good time to go before neither of us have time to do anything at all.

So I need a lens recommendation for my camera. I'm just a hobbyist photographer, I have a Canon XS, no other lenses than the kit 18-55mm and a 75-300mm EF. Looking to spend approx $300, any recommendations? I know this doesn't quite belong here, but it's my thread!
