So I assume the princesses and fairies will slowly move out as their new homes open up? I really hope we get to see Mickey and Friends in a turn of the century version of the EPCOT Character Spot. That mega meet-n-greet is a great set up in my opinion.

Agreed. I think they have unlimited potential with all sorts of technology applied. Skies the limit for Imagineering it seems as it pertains to M&G's.

I realy hate to see this area go It was allways a great place to go that was cool and quiet without the crowds. Infact I don't think most people knew it was there.

Too bad. I will miss the ability to get away from the crowds back there. A lot of people didn't know it existed. Even at the busiest times you could get some pace, quiet, and AC there.

It's all for the best though.

I agree...a nice little place tucked away to experience a bit of magic. Sad to see it go, but so excited for the changes coming up to MK .

Ah, yes. Saw this Saturday...

I will miss that theater, but it has a good purpose to it.


EDIT: Actually, that's en route to the KODAK hallway. The other hallway, with the MK glass collages, is still open to the public.

Well, when someone actually notices the hallway...

only PART of that hallway is open... and I think the reason for keeping that area mostly unblocked is the characters and their friends who meet and greet in town square :shrug:

The current official response from Disney is, "Construction in this area is scheduled to begin in early 2011."
