I always wanted to do my own resort.... So I will.

I believe that Texas is the best spot for a new US Disney Park (not just because I live there.) Texas is a huge spot for tourists, as far as I know. And, Texas is midway between Florida and California. It's almost perfect!

Disney's Nature Kingdom
Disney's Magic Kingdom

Adding to Disney's Thrill Kingdom:

Disney's Literature Landing (or something along the lines of that)
-The Kingdom Keepers Interactive Dark Ride
-Peter And the Starcatchers
-Percy Jackson and the Olympians Coaster

I've turned my precious theme park into a dumping ground for Disney's currently unused entities.

Though not a marvel fan i think the Thrill Kingdom sounds like it has a good starting point with your ideas.

Though ido think MOST of the attractions/lands/theme park names could use a bit of help.

Overal, cant wait t see what else u have in store.

Let's get started with

MARVEL MULTIVERSE (NEW NAME)
X-MANSION
An all new type of ride. The exterior is themed to Professor Xaiver's School for Gifted Youngsters. Guests enter the building, to find themselves in an elaborate mansion. The queue takes them to Professor X's office, where an AA version of him tells the riders that four of his X Men are giving tours of the mansion. The queue leads down to the mansion's basement, where four vehicles providing four tours: A weapons tour from Wolverine, a science tour from Cyclops, a tour of the X-Men's vehicles by Storm, and a recreation tour from Gambit. Each of the tours is interrupted by a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants: Juggernaut, Mystique, Sabretooth, and Toad. After each tour guide defeats the mutant, all four vehicles come together in the Danger Room for a final battle against Magneto.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK 3D
Guests enter a scientific laboratory, where a pre-show film informs them of The Wonders of Gamma Radiation! The guests are then ushered into the scientific demonstration room (the main theater) where they will be shown a demonstration by resident scientist, Dr. Bruce Banner. Unfortunately, something goes awry and the gamma rays hit Dr. Banner, transforming into the Incredible Hulk! The riders then realized that the Gamma Rays have shrunk the entire audience! (I know what you're thinking.....) Hulk picks up the riders, and takes them along for a wild ride. He storms the city, destroying things, and wreaking ultimate havok. Then, the military shows up, and starts attacking him. He retaliates, and throws a car at them. Suddenly, the Avengers arrive, and after a brief battle, use gamma rays to turn Hulk back to Bruce. Then, the gamma rays are used on the guests to return them to normal size. The ride ends with a black screen and the riders exit the theater.

I didn't look at the sub cat that this thread was in....I thought it was going to be another thread about how someone had heard that Disney was going to open a theme park in Austin, New Braunfels, Nacogdoches, etc..

Also, my Avengers idea won't work so should I create in it's place:

A. Ghost Rider MotoCoaster

B. Some Sort of Drop Ride (Possibly Fantastic Four Themed)

C. Namor The Sub-Mariner Water Ride

D. Captain America Shield Spinners Flat Ride

E. Iron Man Flight Simulator

F. Nothing, 3 rides is good enough.

That would be strangely coincidental.

Can I draw up some area layouts? The indoor complex idea does not work for me.

There have been several threads about this, but most of them get zapped because they become really heated by the OP swearing that it's the gospel truth. Their grandmother's hairdresser's boyfriend's father was privy to a private conversation between Walt Disney and the Governor of Texas just last week....etc.

I've never seen any of these.

So, for now I'm gonna skip the Spiderman Adventure (the final product should blow your mind just as much as The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman at IoA) and I'm leaving the fourth Marvel Multiverse attraction's fate to you guys... So I'm going straight into

VIDEO GAME CENTRAL
The Call of Duty
Based on the hit series of video games, in this (or these) unique attraction(s) you have the choice of which vehicle, either a troop transport jeep, a pave low helicoptor, or a motor-powered raft. This ride is all interactive. In the first experience, the jeep, you ride through the streets of a run-down city, looking for multitudes of criminals. When you see a criminal, you must disable them using your gun, mounted to the vehicle. Tons of special effects will be used. Sharp turns and fast speeds will be a huge component of the jeep attraction. The final scene will be a high speed chase through the streets after a well-known gang leader. If the leader gets away, then the mission ends unsucessfully. In the helicoptor experience, by far the most interactive, there are multiple positions to be had. A pilot and copilot must be designated, who can actually navigate the ride vehicle, which is suspended having elaborate projected scenery beneath. These pilots must manuever the copter to avoid rockets or get closer to targets for the gunners to shoot at. There must also be 3 gunners, two on each side, and one on the back. Their job is to take out enemy artillery which is trying to take down the helicopter. The final scene for the helicopter is a battle between the gunners and a group of RPG-firers on rooftops. If 3 rockets hit the helicopter, then it crashes and the mission ends unsuccesfully. Finally, the boat experience, the most thrilling (and wet) takes you down a river in a high speed chase after a renegade army general. The 8 riders must fire their mounted guns at enemies to prevent them from taking down their boat. The boats will be controlled by a CM, who acts as your squad leader. The final scene consists of a final boat chase, where the general drives his boat into a helicopter, as the raft goes down a waterfall. After the drop, the chase continues. If you don't stop down the copter in time, the general gets away and the mission is not completed.

I hate those discussions, so pointless. :P they've even had many announcements from WDI saying they're focusing on their parks; no more new ones for awhile (shanghai was the exception, i think... they'd been putting that on the board for some time)

i've heard many rumors... one in kansas, i was excited about the idea for disney to buy busch gardens to put in the america park there (they'll still do it, one day), etc...

and i dunno figmntl, i doubt they'd put one in texas, but it seems like an idea (i figure they would put one a little more north)

location aside, yours looks great :)

People, it's Call of Duty the ride! You have nothing to say? Fine, I'll do my Nintendo Adventure Ride:

The Nintento Adventure
The Nintendo Adventure is a classic dark ride. Guests enter the NES Game-pad shaped building facade, into the Super Mario Brothers Plumbing Agency office. Various video monitors explain to the riders that Bowser has once again captured Princess Peach. Now you must assist Mario and Luigi in finding her. You ride in multicolored Yoshi vehicles through the various worlds of Nintendo (The Legend Of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Pokemon, and Kirby) searching for the Princess. Along the way, you'll meet some of your favorite heroes (Link, DK and his crew, Samus, Pikachu and Friends, and Kirby) and villains (Ganondorf, King K. Rool, Ridley, Mewtwo, and King Dedede) in AA form. The final scene depicts a battle between Mario and Luigi and Bowser. The brothers are victorious, and Mario is reunited with Peach, while Luigi is reunited with... noone. Then, Princess Peachs best friend, Princess Daisy, shows up...
The ride exits into a gift shop selling various Nintendo items.

I'm pretty sure the next one after Shanghai is Australia or Brazil.
