You can see from the above blueprint by Enfilm that the model only represents the expansion... that's why you don't see Peter Pan, the Carousel, IASW, etc. Dumbo will be moved to where Toontown currently sits, but 95% of the current Fantasyland will remain untouched.

The only "attractions" that are going away are the Ariel's Grotto meet & greet and Pooh's Playful Spot. All the Toontown Fair "attractions" will be taken down, with the exception of a converted Barnstormer.

Hey guys, its been a while since I've been on the boards keeping up with the Fantasyland expansion and I've tried to look around and keep up but I'm all kinds of confused. So I wondered if we know which of the current Fantasyland attractions will be staying and going. From the model, it looks like there is no carousel or room for Peter Pan's Flight, IASW or the other dark rides. Are they all being scrapped? Thanks and sorry if this is an obvious and dumb question.
Actually all of the rides you mentioned will be staying. The map just doesn't include that part because it will all remain the same. The only thing that's closing will be Mickey's Toontownfair, except Goofy's Barnstormer, and Dumbo will be moved to a new location.

What is the date on the blueprint? I have seen two different layouts for FL, one with dumbo in the north end of Toon Town and one with Dumbo between the teacups and the speedway. The blueprints reflect the former and the art and model reflect the latter. Which is ultimately being built?

Is that the true track layout for Little Mermaid?? If it is, doesn't it look awfully short when compared to other Omnimovers like Haunted Mansion and other FLand dark rides?

It's two levels so I'm assuming the blue prints are somewhat misleading.

According to the blueprint, it's from 8/25/05!!!!

Amazing they've been working on this for that long. I'd say these plans are a bit out of date.

Never mind that date.
The image in this thread is not of actual WDI blueprints. Someone took the real prints and converted them CAD or some such, and added his own little sidebar on the right.
The actual plans are nowhere near that old.

My biggest gripe about that version of the layout. It appears to be a big open space between Barnstormer and Dumbo, and I would rather have a pixie hollow ride over open space. Just invites more strollers.
Phase 2 will (supposedly) add Pixie Hollow into some of that open space.
