1) For those that use DME, are you supposed to (or do you personally) tip the driver on arrival and departure?

3) How much do you normally tip mousekeeping?

2) I am staying at MUSIC but how far (or how long) is the walk from the MUSIC food court to the MOVIES food court?

You'll get alot of different opinions from people on this one. I would do a search of the forums for more answers.

Personally, we tip about 2 or 3 dollars a day, everyday, as the mousekeeper will likely change at least once during your trip. We usually just scribble a 'Thank You' on a piece of paper with the money and leave it in a visible location so they know it's a tip.

I'd say your best bet is to tip $1 or $2 per person, per night. Of course, if mousekeeping does a really good job, or you leave a really big mess, tip a little more. If the service is not so good, tip less, and IMMEDIATELY call the front desk to make sure the issue is corrected.

Have a great trip!

We typically use the luggage tags and have our checked luggage sent to our room. If we are in our room when it arrives we tip $2.00/bag. We usually have two carry-on pieces of luggage (airlines lost a piece of luggage once and I never go without carry-on anymore) which the bus drives has to load and unload for us. We tip him at least $2.00/bag and more if he's an entertaining driver. Our last ME ride to WDW was the most entertaining we have ever had :ROFLOL:

FYI, if you tip the bell services person who delivers your yellow DME-tagged bags, you're actually double-tipping them. They already get a tip from Disney for each DME bag they deliver to your room. So a tip is unnecessary on delivery. (Of course, if you WANT to double-tip, that's entirely up to you)

If your DME bus driver handles any of your bags to put them under the bus (which pretty much has to be done with anything more than a backpack, purse or laptop bag), you should probably tip him $1-$2 per bag.

If you have bell service *pick up* your luggage from your room to be brought down to the front of the resort, you should probably tip them $1-$2 per bag.

Lastly for the OP, the walk from the Music food court to the Movies food court is probably about 5-10 minutes, depending on your walking speed. The distance between the food courts is about the sme as the distance from the Country buildings in Music to Music's food court.
(In fact, many rooms in the Mighty Ducks buildings in Movies are actually CLOSER to Music's food court and bus stops than to Movies... They're even closer than about 3/5 of Music's rooms to the Music food court...)
