Mousesavers is showing an AP discount for Jan.-June, Code NPJ. Disney reservations and guest services is saying there is no AP discount for that period. Anyone had any luck booking the AP discount?

It is a passholder PIN code discount. Only those receiving the email (with a 15 digit PIN number attached) can use the discount. We did not get an email, but I saw the mousesavers page, too, and I've tried 3X to use it with no luck. One CM said he got it to work, but then when he checked availability nothing would come up without the 15 digit PIN number. So, no more calling for me unless a PIN email magically appears in my inbox. (yeah... right. I never get them)

 Thanks mousefan. I thought maybe they forgot to tell the CM's about the code like they did the first couple of days with the 4/3, 5/2 code but Guest Relations told me the PIN was required. I sent an email to Mousesavers but no correction on their site yet. You and I will not be the only unhappy campers. :(

No problem. I also emailed mousesavers last night about the error and thought for sure they'd have it corrected by now. They don't usually post wrong info.

how do you get such e-mails? we are passholders and never receive these e-mails.:(

That is the secret of the century:shrug: I will say this though, we've been AP holders for the past 5 years and have registered at every Disney.com site. It wasn't until I registered my 3 year old son on the Disneyworld.com sight and put in his passholder ID that we received our first PIN postcard a week later. This was this past June. I called yesterday and we were able to get the above mentioned discount so we must have a PIN attached to our name, and hopefully it will stay that way from now on:sohappy:.

Thanks for the good info. durangojim.
We just got our APs last month, and I didn't get the pincode email either, despite registering for everything disney I can find, and getting disney visa. When I called DRC this morning, the helpful CM offered to check to see if there was a pincode attached to our records even though I didn't get an email, and sadly there wasn't. But, the good news is, it sounds as though maybe once you're in, you're in. Let's hope so!

Now I'm off to register my kids' AP #s on the disney passholder website....

No one really knows. Making sure that Disney has your email/mail on record for your AP is important. So having just a voucher may not work unless you register it. Some people feel that registered for all sorts of things from Disney helps, the planning DVD, giveaways, stuff on the website. Personally, I only have my Disney Visa, and occasionally an AP, and I still have gotten a few PIN codes. As a PP said, its pretty much totally random.
Strange enough though, the Disney Visa discount is better than that AP PIN discount was. Not sure if more/other rooms were available with the AP PIN as I didn't get it. Perhaps a general public AP code will come out soon? Unless they are gonna start only doing the PIN codes for AP's (which would stink).

What surprised me about this PIN and the prior AP PIN codes given where that you were able to get discounts up to 8 months in advance! Usually an AP discount is released a couple months prior to the available dates, but in this case it's only October and there are discounts available for June 2010. I have a feeling that Disney expects the economy to still deter people from coming to the parks next year and they are being proactive with their "best" guests. However many people take advantage of this PIN will probably determine when and how many general AP discounts in the next 6 months. Just my thought.

I agree. This AP discounts are so good - I booked 2 trips for the 1st half of 2010.
