Humunga Kowabunga Closed for Refurb?

HI all:

I was checking hours for the trip my nurse it going on next week off of an email they sent to me for confirmation of the trip. It took me to the WDW page and showed the 10 day hours for each park. It listed several things as being closed from Jan 13 through Dec 31 and among those was the HK.

Anyone been recently that can tell me?

When is the trip?

Typhoon Lagoon is completely closed from Nov 1 through to at least Dec 31 2009. They havn't yet released the end date of the refurbishment.

Not quite understanding your date range. We were there last week & rode HK a number of times. Believe all rehabs for Water Parks are scheduled for winter months.

Whoops, sorry, I guess that part would have helped. she leaves on 9/11 and will be hitting TL on 9/15. the dates listed on the WDW hours page really made no sense as it was an almost 1 year closure.

Typhoon Lagoon is completely closed from Nov 1 through to at least Dec 31 2009. As far as I know everything is operating as normal until Nov 1.
