1900 Park Fare vs Chef Mickey's

What is everyone's thoughts on 1900 Park Fare for breakfast? My wife and I always go to Chef Mickey's as a character breakfast. In reading up on the menus (to make our ADR's) we started to wonder about 1900 Park Fare. Has anyone been to both of these, which would you rate better? Any differences besides characters?

Although it would be hard to skip Chef Mickey's we would consider it if 1900 Park Fare has good enough reviews.

Eaten at both. Enjoyed both.

Chef Mickey's is more active and popular.
More of a fun crowd, less reserved.
Food is excellent and plentiful and in great variety.
The setting is sort of like a large noisy kitchen at a family reunion.
Mickey and the main characters.

1900 Park Fare (Breakfast)
Smaller and more quiet.
Less activity but that can mean less fun.
More dignified and adult.
Food is excellent and plentiful and in good variety, including a few gourmet items like lobster Benedict.
Characters are face characters- no Mickey.
Mary Poppins (a proper lady), Mad Hatter, Alice in Wonderland, etc.

I think you have to do both at some time just to see.

I've doneboth and the 1900 Park Fare is much better IMO. It is quieter and the food is a big step up.

Doing the 1900 Park Fare again on 12/11 with a party of 10 (9 who've never been before).

We were making this same decision last month. We decided to book breakfast at 1990 Park Fare, primarily for the different characters that the kids will get to see, but it's great to see in this thread that the restaurant may be preferable for other reasons as well. My hubby will love the lobster benedict! As for me, I'm hoping they have the key lime tarts I've read about.
