What does Tier 3 mean re: Candlelight Processional?

If you eat at a Tier 3 restaurant do you get worse seating at the Candlelight Processional than if you were Tier 1? We were planning to have lunch at Coral Reef and were thinking of making it a dinner package. Is there a benefit to being Tier 1 or 2? Thank you!!

The tier's are only for the level of the restaurant, all reserved seating is first come first serve.

Level three is more expensive than level on.e

No - its all down to the cost of your meal at your chosen restaurant and has absolutely nothing to do with where you sit at the CP. All guests who take advantage of the CP Dinner Package must still stand in line to gain entry to the theatre, there are no reserved seats - those that get in line first get first choice of seats. All the CPDP does is guarantee you entry before those guests who choose not not participate in the Dinner Package

When my family attended CP we had 'reserved seating' i.e. had a dinner package. First come, first serve type of seating. Lined up along the lagoon railing down toward the Japan pagoda. When we entered the theatre the cast members filled the seating from the front to the rear of the theatre. We did not get to select our seats. Once everyone was in who had packages they opened the theatre to those who did not have packages. These people were lined up along the lagoon railing toward the Germany side.

However, you will find that all the seats are very good -- it is just a matter of assuring that you gain entrance - the dinner package does this for you.

Many guests just sit around the American pavilion and listen to the performance. (You have to be willing to put up with people walking by in speaking in loud voices..) :xmas::xmas::xmas:

The Tier system has nothing to do with the seating at the performance. Once you're done with your meal everyone with the dinner package lines up in a specified line outside the theatre and then once the line is let into the theatre it's first come first served for the seating so it's best to head for the line once your done your meal. The tier system is only in reference to the restaurants based on the cost of the restaurant. Just because you are eating at one of the lower priced or "tiered" restaurants, you still have just as good a chance as someone at a higher priced or "tier 1" restaurant of getting that prime seat for the show.
