Food and Wine Festival

This year my husband and I will be in disney during the food and wine festival. I have heard of it many times before but never being there while it was going on I have never really paid much attention to what it was. Can anyone give me any details? Thanks in advance!:p

I've been a few times and I love it. Booths are set up throughout World Showcase with appetizer size fares and wines from that specific country. But there are also booths from different countries there as well. It's a lot of fun trying out new things. Check out Allears.net, I find they have a lot of great information on this, and they'll have the countries represented as well as their menus.

The main event of the festival is the various food and wine booths placed around world showcase. They each offer several tiny dishes of food specific to the country or region they represent. The portions usually cost anything from $3 to$5. The booths also serve similar small amounts of wine and occasionally other drinks. At the same time there is a concert series that runs the length of the festival and special seminars, demonstrations and tastings. The last three come at an additional cost many times over $100.

Festival WORTH Trying

If you've never been its worth trying, we've been the past two years. Because of our schedule this year will be there in Sept. so NO festival for us this year. Suggest you line up early for some of the indoor seminars & food tasting. Have a GREAT time! Duckberg :wave:
