Has anyone had the Sod....The Stew? And do you know how it compares to the Guinness Beef Stew that Rose and Crown used to have on the menu?

I loved the Guinness Beef Stew, but now that it's off the menu I'm on the search for a comparable substitute.

I have had Sod...the stew at Raglan Rd and it is excellent. Unfortunately I have not had the Guinness stew at R&C so I can not compare the two but regardless of that the stew at Raglan Rd is smack your grandma down good.

Thanks for giving it the glowing review. I may run over there tomorrow (my dogs are desperate for more mickey head squeaky toys) and see if I can get in for lunch.

It's not quite in the same house at the R&C's stew ... but it is a good neighbor! I think it could use a hint more Guinness but if you liked the Guinness stew I can almost guarantee you'll enjoy Sod. (I'm more of a Bangers & Mash girl though.)
