Buses to Downtown Disney...

Ok, so we're headed to WDW a week from today and I have a question about catching the bus to Downtown Disney!

We usually like to go to Downtown Disney after a fun-filled day in the Animal Kingdom and I know there's not a bus that will take you directly there, you have to go back to your resort etc. I know one time we took another resort bus that was close to Downtown Disney and walked there but I don't remember which resort it was and I forget which stop to get off at. Can someone please help! Thanks!

You can take a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge and then a bus to Downtown Disney. Or you can take a bus to Saratoga Springs and walk to Downtown Disney.

Or take the bus to POR/POFQ and take the boat to DTD.... You've got a couple of options! We'll be leaving a week from today as well, see ya there! :wave:

Yes, Saratoga Springs is the resort bus that we took but the bus stopped at several different stops once we got to the resort so my question is does anyone know which stop we should get off at? Thanks!

You would want to get off the bus in the Congress Park section and take the walkway from there. Should take you about 10 minutes to walk it.

I just came back recently and at the DTD Marketplace station they have a little stand up sign right by station 1 in regards to resort guests wanting to go to the parks. If I recall you had to take the port orleans bus and then transfer from the hotel buses to get to the parks...But I do beleive that Saratoga Springs would be the one you are talking about.

Take the bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge; it's close. Then do the bus to DTD.

Also, you can always ask the bus driver where to get off. They will tell you.

BTW- We accidentally took the Saratoga Springs bus from AK instead of the AK Lodge bus once. (Dont' ask.)
On the way we told the driver what we did. She was nice enough to drop us directly at AK Lodge on the way back.
