Pleasure Island's Last Night - Info

I'm starting this thread to get information about the last night of Pleasure Island because that other thread turned into a debate on why it's closing, why alcohol is the devil, etc. etc.

All I'm really wanting to know is:

What are the costs of getting into the clubs that night?

Is admission to the Island free?

Can you buy tickets ahead of time for anything?

What time does everything start?

What time does everything end?

Thanks in advance to anyone who knows the answers!

This link http://www.wdwinfo.com/downtown/pi/index.htm Should cover most of your answers. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link!

I guess I'm more worried about flying down there for the night, and finding out they've decided to do things differently because of the crowd that will be there. I find it hard to believe that they won't limit the number of people on the island that night.

Anyone else have any info on if anything special is taking place that night as far as admission to the Island or the clubs?

Well, I just got off the phone with Disney, and the first lady tells me you can't get onto PI without a ticket, so I knew I had no shot getting any correct information from her.

Then I called the ticket line, and they told me you can't purchase tickets for Pleasure Island over the phone, and that they can only be purchased there, in person. Is this correct?

That is my fear as well, but it wouldn't be an adventure without taking a risk I guess.:)

Technically the only way you can get it over the phone is get a MYW ticket with the Water Park & More option. Which includes DisneyQuest, Typhoon Lagoon,Blizzard Beach and The Clubs of Pleasure Island (Until Sept 27th).

When I ordered my tickets it came with a flyer that mentions the clubs of PI will be closing on Sept 27th. But all other options on the WP&M can still be used.

Looks like the link above needs some updating...or else they're holding dance parties under the construction equipment..

This was listed under special events for PI:

Dance the Fright Away
October 30, 31 and November 1, 2008 - 7pm till 2am
