Earth barge still in Reflections of Earth

The rehab was originally scheduled for Aug. 13 but it got delayed because of contractor problems. The new start date is Aug 21, so the Wednesday night Aug 20 will be the last show with the Globe

I see that SkyDance is being thrown around the Internet almost every day. The whole SkyDance thing was based around it appearing on Don Dorseys website. It was never linked to Disney in any way. I'm not saying that the show isnt related, but there has never been any direct evidence.

I haven't heard anything about Sky Dance or any type of new show until maybe 2012.

Its not a bad thing, its just that the internet has a great way of propogating rumor as fact. I just find it funny that people constantly refer to "Sky Dance" as the replacement show. For all we know, that's the name of a show Dorsey was doing for Vegas or someplace else.

Who knows if it'll be called skydance or not... it may just be a codename or for that matter something completely unrelated that people have "adopted" as the new name due to lack of knowledge. But I have it on what I'd call "comfortable authority" that a new show is in the works and new pyros have been tested right under our noses in the past. As for the timing... I suppose it's just a matter of when all the smoke clears. Or more appropriately... when it clears only to the extent neccessary. :lookaroun

It is certainly no secret that show would replace RoE. At launch in 99 they said it would have an approx 10 year life span.

I'm just yet to see any firm evidence from anywhere about a concept, timeframe, or name of a new show. The Sky Dance thing just all goes back to that website from a few years ago. Everyone seems to have latched onto that.

i might sound really stupid but oh well im gonna say it if the new show was for next year why are they going to refurbish the earth barge and spend money on that unless its going to be used in the new show. it just seems stupid to me if there going to do a new show like next year why spend that money :S
