Boardwalk Villa rooms...

I have a couple questions for those who have stayed @ BWV...is internet access free? I though I read that on here somewhere..

Also, I was looking at the pictures of the refurbished rooms at the Inn, and there was an iPod dock alarm clock on the nightstand. Do they have those in all the rooms?

No clue about the i-pod clock, but it sounds cool. BWV internet is free ONLY if you are a Disney Vacation Club member and are staying on points. Or maybe DVC member with cash too but I don't know for sure. You will be informed you will be charged when you log in but the charge is removed from the final bill. When logging in, the network doesn't know who is DVC member or cash guest.

I stayed at the BWV in July and my room didn't have an Ipod clock, but it wasn't a newly refurbished room. At the time I was there the only rooms being refurbished were on the regular hotel rooms side of BW.

I don't know if the policy has changed but I've stayed in the boardwalk villas twice, most recent being May 2006, using rented points. The room's internet access was not free.

I believe that's only for the actual DVC member.
