Where to go for special tour tickets?

For our next trip in Sept. 09 I have talked my wife into going on one of the "Behind the magic" tours. But I'm not having any luck finding where to buy tickets for it.

The WDW website tends to get confusing and hard to navigate (not to mention that half the time it's on the fritz!)

So does anyone have a direct link or any info on where I can learn more about the tours (not just the behind the magic) or where to purchase them?

You have to call and speak directly to someone from Disney. I just called on Thursday and booked the KTTK tour. YOu must have a credit card. I never heard of any other way of getting tour tickets. Heres the phone number:

1-407-939-TOUR

If you wants to know more about all of the tours wdw offers, visit http://www.allears.net/btp/tours.htm
They will give you a good rundown of the tours, and there are reviews that others have posted on there about their experiences.

Thanks for the link. I was asking for opinions on the Animal Kingdom Tours and no one has responded. Now I see why, not many people go on the tours at Animal Kingdom judging from the lack of reviews.

My mom and I did the Backstage Safari at Animal Kingdom a number of years ago and we loved it. Some of the things we did were seeing the Elephant barn and where the giraffes live backstage, we even go to meet the newest member of the giraffe herd that had not been released onto the savannah yet. We got to see where the rhinos are kept and were lucky enough to get to pet it. We also went backstage at Rafiki's Planet Watch and got to go through the veterinary hospital and see the kitchens where they prepare the food for all the animals. It was a great tour and we would definitely do it again.

As for getting tickets, you have to call the Tour Line at 407-WDW-TOUR to book it. You won't receive an actual "ticket". They will give you a confirmation number which you need to have with you on the day of the tour. You will need to take the Animal Kingdom Breakfast bus so that you are at AK in time for the tour which I believe starts at 8:30am. There will be one turnstile open on the right I believe that allows entrance for those people with early breakfasts and those doing the tours. The CM will tell you exactly where to meet but we met just inside the turnstiles.

My wife and I took this tour last Dec. '07. My wife loves animals of all species. She was satisfied with the tour as stated above. I, on the other hand, was disappointed. I was hoping for a little interaction or possible hand feeding of some sorts and none of that happened. So I found the tour somewhat boring, especially the diet part. Oh well.:sohappy:
