The appearance of the restaurant has improved greatly but sadly the food is the same as it was before.

My mother got FP after eating there, was in the hospital for 2 days.

I'm just sayin'.....I know you can get it anywhere but I'm no fool, when someone tells me they got FP somewhere, I don't eat there.

Well, she got violently ill about 1/2 an hour after eating there (she felt perfect before going) and the Doctors at the hospital think it was from bad shrimp.

We love Teppan Edo, it is our traditional first night restaurant. Not to disagree that FP is dangerous, if you read the boards and reviews across the internet, doubt that you would find anyplace that this hasn't been claimed.

We lived in Japan for a year, and find it very close to traditional.

my husband works in the restaurant industry and in food training with consultation from health officials, they are trained that food poisoning does not set in for 24 hours. Maybe it was a food allergy/reaction or a reaction to food from the day before.
We're going to Teppan Endo in december so I hope the food is safe
