BWV & DDE ?'s

Couple of questions for those in the know:

1. Do the boats stop at BW/BC/S&D in a set order? If so what is it? Aren't there two different routes?

2. I could have sworn I read somewhere that DVC members can buy the DDE for $50, but now I don't see that anywhere. Am I losin' it?:hammer:

3. Can one use the DDE for a discount on a Fantasmic Package? It seems the TS's are on the list, but the package is not mentioned specifically.

1. The boat goes BW, Y&BC, S&D, DHS, S&D, Y&BC, BW, Epcot.

2. It's $65 now and you can purchase it at Guest Relations, You used to have to purchase it ahead of time.

3. I'm not 100% sure on this one, but I don't see why you can't. When you make your ADRs just ask the CM.

Unless things have changed

2) You need an AP (or be a Florida Resident) to get an DDE card. Not a DVC member. Temp DDE cards are available at the EPCOT guest relations (the one outside the front of the park), not just any guest relations

3) Again, unless things have changed, yes, I bought a Fantasmic package at the Brown Derby with my DDE discount about 2 years ago.

Thanks JP, allways best to get it from the source.

As an aside, last trip I used my DDE in about 4 or 5 sit down places. The 18% was added at all places. In only one place (Ohana) was it mentioned to me that it was added. The server made a point of telling me "There is no need to leave an additional gratuity, they allready add 18% with the DDE card" - I thought that was very nice of her. I wonder how many people leave a tip on top of the tip ?

Thanks all!

TwoTigsMom, Thanks for the boat routes. Looks like the ride to Epcot is short, but so is the walk. Also, the ride to DHS looks to be the longest, but so is that walk. At Epcot(and to it), I was thinking walk, unless the boat is there or pulling in. To DHS, I was thinking boat, unless we have a room way down the river on the DHS side of the resort. What has been your experience? Also, have you ever tried the trick where if you miss a
boat at BW, walking over to S&D to catch the DHS boat?

BTW, The Tide is goin' down come August 2008. Nick Satan will taste defeat in the Georgia Dome. We may be different Tigers, but this is something I am sure we can agree on.

Dave, thanks. I think I had AP and DVC mixed up in my head. I am relatively new to both. Gettin' my first AP in 2 weeks. (Seems like it should be some kind of a rite of passage) Explorin' all the perks still. Also, they didn't have any openings at my choice on my date for the package anyway. CM said that the 10:30 (second) show shouldn't be "sold out" until just before show time anyway.

JP, thanks. Another question> I made a Hoop De Doo Revue ressie recently for the 9:30 show. DDE gets a 20% discount for this. The amount of money charged for my ressie did not reflect this discount. Should I be concerned and call back, or will the discount be applied at the time of performance when I present the card?

Appreciate it, once again, everyone.
