Yeah, Vegas

We may be going here in the next couple of months. For any who have been there we are looking to stay at the Luxor and was wondering if for 6 nights $733 is a good deal? Or should I keep looking? And for anyone who lives there, what is the weather like in Mid April? Thanks. :sohappy:

Three friends and I are going for 3 days at the end of April, staying at Harrah's and it's costing us about the same price. So, it sounds like a good deal. I've never been, so am really looking forward to it!

Its a good deal for the Luxor, but depeneding on when you go you may be able to do better. Vegas is known for having some good deals specially at a place like The Luxor. As for weather in April, its useally the second driest month of the year with a temp in the high 80s.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me... I stayed there in Jan 06 for a Redken hairshow... I think I payed like $99 a night and that was the hairshow deal. You'll have lots of fun! Its a older resort/casino, but I didn't sleep much while i was there! heheheh... to much other stuff to do.....

Just make sure you get a players card. I remember the last time I was in vegas I was at the Rio and I ended up getting my room comped for just playing quarter video poker...

I don't know your games or budget, but get a slot players card. There will be some kiosk there in the casino that will get you set up. Put the card in any machine you play in the casino and it keeps track of your play. The more you play, the more chance you have of accumulating discounts at checkout.

Have fun- I haven't been there since 2000, I hear it's quite a madhouse these days.
