Does Disney keep a picture of you in their computer systems?

So my wife calls disney today to order an extra pirate party ticket for someone who is going to meet us at Disney World later this month on our vacation. The girl on the phone asks my wife for her info and says something like "oh you been here 4 times the past few years etc" and then says something like "oh and I see a picture of you here with mickey!" which my wife thought was really cool.

Anyway, after getting off the phone and telling me I wondered if the girl on the phone was just trying to spread a little magic by joking that she saw a picture there of my wife and mickey on my wifes file or if there really is a picture there. We tried to remember ever giving our names after a character picture thing at the parks and we really couldnt remember giving our names after taking pictures with Mickey etc. So.. what do you think..

The girl was joking with your wife. The reservation software has nothing like 'stored photos' or anything similar in it.

This happened to me, too. The last time I called to make reservations, the CM mentioned that she was looking at a picture of your wife and Mickey. That must be one extraordinary picture! :D

Now you see, THAT is why everyone is always complaining about generation x. Bunch of young upstarts and whatnot.

I know when I made a reservation for last christmas, the CM didn't say anything about a picture, but she did say, Wow, this will be your 21st trip since 2000. I said, great, what do I win?

KNowing the number of trips you make there would not be hard for them, when you make reservations and use your phone number they can easily track your reservations, so now they track your visits,

Got to make them happy that you visit the mouse so many times,

6 days and counting!!!

I would say that the CM was just joking. Their computer systems would require waay too much memory to have a pic of each returning guest on it. But next time I call Disney, I will be asking them. :)

I need to call tomorrow to put some more $$ down on my trip. I'm going to ask if they have a photo of me as well. I hope it's the one on my avatar! :ROFLOL:

don't yo watch Las Vegas or CSI?

trust me, Disney has a photo of you. if a Casino has a photo of you and can identify you, trust me Disney probably invented it.

you go to a Disney store. They track you. You call for a reservation, they track you. You use your ticket, they track you. and they have been tracking you and me since they opened in 1971.

and that's how they stay in Business. They make very very few mistakes. When is the last time that they "ran out of food?" or a coke, or what ever? How do they know how much to make each day? they have to keep waste to a minimum and yet not run out.

they know when you came in and when you left. they know by a fast pass what rides you rode on and at what time. they know if you hopped, how many times you hopped. and what time you hopped. Its all on the ticket and it all goes into the computer.

Now they have your finger print. don't you think that they know from your finger print and all the hidden cameras what you look like to an exact science.

if you don't, you are only fooling your self.

they know what you buy, when you bought it, and when you asked to have it held at the door so you don't need to lug it around all day. They know approximently how much you spend. and how much your family spends.

and they have guys figuring this out to the penny. on a daily basis.

they know how far you came to the park. they know if you are staying on base. if you are on the meal plan, exactly what you purchase to eat each day and when you decided to eat it.

they have a photo of your car each day.

trust me you don't pick your nose at disney without some one seeing it.

and they save the photos . how do they come up with the photos of the people flashing themselves going down splash mountain? did they find those pictures in the garbage? probably not.

each ride has a counter. each ride has tons of cameras. there are the ones that you see. But how about the ones that you don't see. Don't you think that each inch of track isn't covered by a camera? they would have to do this just for saftey much less anything else.

so if you are making out on a ride in the "dark" some one is enjoying it as much as you.

why do you think that there are no "attacks" on base. if they see something funny, somebody comes running and takes care of business in a very quiet fashion.

theives know not to go there. the same with stalkers or guys with weird minds. why because, they will disappear. all without an "incident".

But trust me. Disney wrote the book on tracking. How do you know that they don't track this and other sites like this.

and let me tell you I always feel totally safe there. Because trust me BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU THERE.
