We're just going to dinner w/ another couple and then heading to their apartment for wine, board games, and watching the ball. :)

It really was. It's always nice to be able to spend time w/ my family. I feel like it was really relaxed and unrushed this year too which was nice.

I have to say it really is a culture shock coming back to the city after spending a week in Nebraska. :rolleyes:

Hello Kristin. Sounds like your trip went really great. Did the kids like the Christmas gifts or just being at WDW best? Did they miss not being at home for Christmas?

Hi, Susan. Yes, it was a great time. My daughter definitely was excited about Santa coming and enjoyed opening her gifts Christmas morning. My son, being only 2, didn't really get the whole idea, but he liked throwing the wrapping paper around... :rolleyes: Since they are so young, they didn't have any memories of being home at Christmas, so to them they didn't "miss" anything. DH and I both agreed it was a little weird, but not so much so that we wouldn't do it again.
