If have found several listings for Christmas weeks for rent near Disney during the actual week of Christmas. I did a search under "Disney Christmas Weeks." Has anyone ever gotten a rental through ebay and if so how did it turn out? Anyone ever been to Orange Lake Resort?

You would actually pay someone on an online site unseen, off a bidding website no less, for reservations? Buyer beware is something everyone should remember no matter what...while some of them maybe the real thing, always check feedback and other info on the seller and think long and hard if you want to risk that money or just pay more and are 100% sure of what you are getting?

Dont book anything unless you know its through a reputable company or you have some sort of comeback if it all goes wrong

You'd probably be better off going through a site like www.vrbo.com - I really don't trust some of the things that go on on e-bay.

eBay has protections, depending on how you pay, like if you pay through paypal they protect you up to a good bit of money.

That said, seriously consider ging through a company that has a good reputation that specializes in this stuff.

Orange Lake Resort is a Timeshare on 192 on the Lake County/Orange County Line. It is about 10 minutes west of DAK, given good traffic (which you wont get on 192 during Christmas Week).

Why mess around with eBay when you could book one off of vrbo.com or through a reputable rental management company. There should still be plenty of options left as well, so don't think eBay is the only way you are going to find something.
