From Touringplans.com (Unofficial Guide to WDW):

Cinderella's Holiday Wish

The new nighttime castle-lighting ceremony at the Magic Kingdom will occur nightly beginning Monday (Nov 12) and running through the holiday season. The show is called Cinderella's Holiday Wish.

The show will feature Disney characters on the castle stage as they ask guests to join them in bringing the shimmering lights of the castle to life. The show will occur at 5:45pm every night.

This show is not exclusive to the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, rather it will occur every night of the holiday season. On the nights of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party the show will occur at 5:45pm, followed by a 6pm showing of Wishes fireworks, and the park closing to day guests at 7pm as the party begins. Guests with party tickets who want to see the show can begin entering the park before the advertised beginning of the party (7pm) as early as 4pm. A party ticket will be valid for park entry from 4pm until the end of the party - to reinterate, a regular park ticket is not needed to see the show or enter the park after 4pm, as a party ticket will suffice.

On regular park days (those without the Christmas party) the show will also occur at 5:45pm, with a showing of Dream Along with Mickey on the castle stage (which should be stunning with the lighted backdrop) at 6:40pm. Wishes will occur at varying times on those nights.

I think this has already been clarified in about 5 other threads this week, but just in case there are still silly people who don't believe maybe this will shut them up. :animwink:

A select few questioned whether it would run every night (mainly the one's that paid $50 a head to get into MVMCP:D)

Because they only put the decorations out for MVMCP, am I right?

Thats like saying "I paid for MVMCP, how DARE THEY put the christmas tree out all the time!"

Well, I think the confusion was stemming from the fact that Disney has been listing the Castle lights as one of the "features" of the MVMCP. Some people assumed it meant that the lights would *only* be lit for the parties, others assumed it would be every night.

From the MVMCP page on disneyworld.com:

Obviously it's now been determined that the Dream Lights will be on every night, but I can see why the confusion happened. (Disney isn't doing too well making information clear lately, huh?)

So is this a "new" parade or just kinda like a refurb of the older one? And if yes, then what was the name of the old christmas parade? Was it Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Parade or something? And wasnt there a different christmas castle stage show a few years ago? What was it called, because I remember trying to video tape it and my battery died and I couldnt get all of it. This was back in 04 I think. I remember at one point "snow" began to fall from the sky.
