Even if it's only 24 seconds, it's great to see this very funny film which was shown when the original Magic Of Disney Animation was at Disney-MGM Studios.
I even remember when they had to update it when Disney starting using computers to produce animated films. All of the sudden the whole section about the artist hand painting the individual cells turned into the scanning to drawings into the computer. Logic tells me that if the person who posted this vid was able to find a tiny piece of it that the entire film has to exist somewhere. I don't see how it could exist as a videotaped copy from a guest's camera because taping equipment was banned once you were inside the Animation walls. (I remember one uncomfortable occasion when a guest started snapping pics of the artists working and within 2 seconds a Disney exec. was in his face telling him to give him the film (this was before digital cameras) or he would be escorted from the park (and the film would be taken from him anyway
I hope in some form or fashion Disney makes this film available for us to see again. Ditto for "The Making Of Me" at Wonders Of Life and "The Seas" film from The Living Seas.
Robin Williams was hysterical as he journeyed "Back To Neverland" as an animated character.
Hook: "Where is Peter Pan hiding?"
Robin: "I'm drawing a big blank on that one too, man.. Listen, I'm a drawing, you're a drawing.. let's lighten up here man." LOL
