Why are Spanish spiels not themed?

I was listening to Mouseworld radio on Live365 and heard the load and unload spiel for Animal Kingdom's Triceratops Spin. The English spiel is done by a woman with a very happy and twangy southwestern accent. Then the Spanish spiel comes on with no special theming.

So why are the Spanish spiels not themed? I mean the only one I can think of that is is at Haunted Mansion. But why didn't Disney think to get similar voice talents for the Spanish speils as the English spiels around the park instead of using the same voice for just about every attraction?

Maybe because speaking in a southern twang along with certain Spanish words wouldn't sound right. Sometimes certain Spanish words only have one syllable, and a southern twang or any other accent might make a word 2 syllables therefore messing up the true meaning of the word or words.

Some are.

For example, in Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, the spanish voice is themed, and is very authoritative, like Buzz in English.

But not every single spiel is theme, I guess. I guess I depends on when the Spanish spiel was added and whether they could get someone to sound like the English version and/or if it would sound right.

I'm imagining going to a South American theme park. What if the speils that they translate into English had a Colombian accent for one attraction and a Peruvian accent for another area? I think it would be lost on most English speaking people.

Probably the same reason they don't theme the German, French, Japanese and Chinese "spiels". Goodgoogalymoogaly:rolleyes:

Dinosaur's is themed, too.

When did that happen? When I last rode Dinosaur (march) I don't remember noticing the Spanish spiel. Honestly can't remember how the english spiel is themed either unless it's Dr. Seeker talking about seatbelts on the load platform.
