Jungle Book Annual Passholder Event at Animal Kingdom!

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Jungle Book and the DVD release, on September 29th, Animal Kingdom will be open from 5pm to 7pm for Annual Passholders to celebrate the event, and will include character greetings with Baloo, King Louie, PLUS Mowgli and Colonel Hathi.

And it seems just about everything will be open during this time:
* All DINOLAND USA attractions, gift shop and Restaurantsarus
* Expedition Everest
* Kali River Rapids

Man, I wish I could go to this! I envy you FL AP holders....you get so many more chances to do cool stuff at WDW than I ever will.

I reserved my spot. I can't afford all these special events ... lol. I only live an hour and a half away but after a day at the parks I hate driving home so I end up having to stay on property ... lol. Sigh. I'll probably go.

It's a shame that the Jungle Book Stage Show was replaced. Methinks that the movie deserves an attraction at the park.

I agree. I'm pretty surprised none of the parks have a Jungle Book attraction ... so strange.

Animal Kingdom could use a nice quiet dark ride, a Jungle Book themed one could work REALLY well

I hope so! LOL

I think I'll just make it a day trip. AK will close at 7, so I can be home by 9-ish ... not a biggie. :sohappy:

That, and the Epcot 25th is going to make this the best timed trip ever.

I will need to see some pics of this. I am glad they are doing something for it even if its only for AP holders. If I could only get there a day earlier for EPCOT's 25th & find a way to sneak into the event I would be all set. Oh well someone please take some pics for me.
