Star Wars Weekend Big Fig Question!

Does anyone know if the star wars weekend Big Figs will be limited to only the 600 each or will they have extras over that number like last year.

The disney big fig is a Statue of a disney character. During star wars weekends they are selling 4 disney characters dressed like star wars characters.

Last year they only sold Jedi Mickey. The first 300 were limited edition with a special stamp under the foot. They had a supply of jedi mickeys that did not include the special stamp that they sold later.

So far there has been no word about a non-limited edition version of the 4 SWW big figures. I am only going off memory so I could be wrong, but I believe that a regular production of non-signed Jedi Mickeys was announced along with the signed version. So it would be my guess that the 600 are it. Your best bet is to sign up for the wish list at 407-827-7600. If there are any left after SWW you will be on a list to receive them. As of about 2:00 PM on 6/3/7 they still had X-wing pilot Mickey big figures available. This figure was projected to sell out on the first day so there is a possibility that there may be figures left over after SWW.

I watch eBay for big figs, and I have noticed sellers are now advertising Jedi Mickey as "SOLD OUT AT DISNEY". Often times these sellers give misinformation about availability, but these same sellers previously were not making any claims about availability.

By the way, I've seen starting bids as low as $174 for these big figs (with buy it nows as high as $359) with $39 shipping. It appears the average auction is ending at around $250. So if you're willing to pay more, you can definitely get the figure you want. Prices will probably drop considerably once/if Star Wars weekends end and there are still figures left in stores.

If the Jedi Mickey that is listed is one of the first 600 then it is sold out but as you stated many people purposely list stuff incorrectly to get a sale.

In regards to the X-Wing pilot Mickey there are currently 11 (along with 4 or 5 of the other 3 figures) listed on e-bay none of which have even been bid on. In the week before SWW one seller had listed around 5 of each of the 4 SWW big figs at $450 a pop plus shipping. None of those were ever bid on.

Like you said we will more than likely see a price drop in a few weeks when SWW ends and there are still figures left that can be purchased directly from Disney.

They very well might be sold out. It was only 2:00 when I was in the store and I only saw 9 big figure boxes. Now granted there might have been a few pallets of them behind the curtain so anything is possible. It looks like I will be in MGM Friday morning to get my Leia Minnie and I will inquire as to how many, if any, X-wing Mickeys are left.

Please keep us updated. I was able to order a Jedi Mickey last year for WDW after they sold in the parks. I was hoping I could do that again, so I will call today.

p.s. I saw an auction for sketches of the star wars/disney characters this year. Are these sketches exclusives to SWW or will they sell these with their other sketches at the art of disney. In 2006 I bought a personalized jedi mickey sketch, this year I bought a personalized jedi mickey & leia minnie sketch. I am hoping that disney will sell these sketches year round. In 2006 the artist personalizing my jedi mickey sketch talked about the darth goofy and donald as stormtrooper as possible future sketches but this january all they had was the jedi mickey and the jedi mickey w/leia minnie.

I am pretty sure that they will be available year round. They started putting the sketches in the art of Disney store at MGM around about noon on 6/1/7. They were not considered exclusive merchandise so they should be around for quite a while.

Can anyone tell me if they make a smaller version of the Jedi Mickey big fig? I would love to have a Jedi Mickey statue but we can't afford one of the big figs and we really don't have a space for it.

Well if one sells for 250 plus shipping thats still cheaper then spending the weekend there.

The Town Sqare Exposition Hall at the entrance of the Magic Kingdom. We accidentally stumbled upon it back in April when we ate at Tony's Town Square, it is really neat. There is a huge mural there that has a Disney Animation timeline and every major Disney character on it.

The closest I have seen is this figure.

I got back from the second SWW late last night and as of 7:30 PM 6/9/7 they still had X-wing Mickey and Leia Minnie. The merchandise line was no where near as long as it was the first weekend. Now the Ray Park autograph line was another matter entirely.
